These notes ©2018, Andrew Carnie. This dance is a variation on the Pušteno/ Berance/ Bajrače/ Barjače/ Levendikos family of dances. It is a choreography by Atanas Kolarovski.

Music: AK-003; FM11-6; FM26-22
Meter: 12/8, which is parsed as SQQSQ (1,2,3)(4,5)(6,7)(8,9,10),(11,12) but at many points the two Qs are taken together as an even longer slow count.
Formation: Open circle, hands in W position. Leads to the righ.
Introduction: Start at the beginning of any musical phrase.

Part 1:

Bar 1: Čukče on L foot, lifting right knee (1,2,3 - S). Step on R in LOD, slowly transferring weight through the count (4,5,6,7- QQ), Step on L in LOD (8,9- part of S), step on R next to L (10), Step on L in LOD (11,12- Q)
Bar 2: Step on R in LOD (123 - S), Step on L in LOD, slowly transferring weight through the count (4,5,6,7- QQ), Step on R in LOD (8,9- part of S), step on L next to R (10), Step on R in LOD (11,12- Q)
Bar 3: Repeat bar 2, but with opposite footwork
Bar 4: Facing center, Cross R foot over L (123 - S), Rock back in place on L (4,5,6,7 - QQ), Step R (8,9), L (10), R (11,12) in place
Bar 5: Čukče on R, lifting L knee (S), Step on L to L (QQ), Cross R over L (S), Step back on L in place (Q)
Bar 6: Čukče on L, lifting R knee (123-S), step on R to R (4,5,6,7 - QQ), Step on L behind R (8, 9), Step on R to R (10), Step on L behind R (11,12 - Q)
Bar 7: Repeat bar 5, opposite footwork
Bar 8: Repeat bar 5

Part 2: Done at the speed up in the music 

(Tucson does not do this variation)
Bars 1-3: Same as bars 1-3 of part 1
Bar 4: Leap on R across in front of L (S), Swing L around to front of R (Q), step on L forward (Q), step on R behind L (8,9), Step on L to L (10), Step on R behind L (11,12)
Bars 5-8: Same as bars 5-8 of part 1
