Formation: Couples in a circle, M on the inside facing out to partner, W facing in. Holding M's L and W's R hand.
Introduction: None
O = Outside foot = M's Left and W's Right
I = Inside foot = M's R and W's L
Mazurka step: Step on O (1), Step on I (2), hop on I (3
Bar 1: Step on O in LOD (1), Swing I foot up (2,3)
Bar 2: Step on I in RLOD (1), Swing O foot up (2,3)
Bars 3-4: Using two waltz steps, exchange places, W dancing in front of the man turning under joined hands
Bars 5-8: repeat bars 1-4, back to place. during last two counts, everyone do an extra 1/2 turn (W CW, M CCW)to face LOD, and get into Varsouvienne Position.
Bars 9-10: Promenade forward in LOD using 2 Mazurka Steps.
Bars 11-12: Using two waltz steps, starting on O feet, continue forward in LOD, but exchange places, with W passing in front of M. Do not drop hands.
Bars 13-16: Repeat bars 9-12, on opposite sides, but still moving forward in LOD, and switching back to original places
Bars 17-18, Using two waltz steps and leading with outside hand, turn away from partner and trace a complete circle. M turns CCW, W turns CW.
Bars 19-20: Again turning away from partner, leading this time with inside hand trace a circle, M turns CW, W turns CCW. End facing partner.
Bars 21-22: Passing L shoulder with partner, Dance straight forward (M out, W in) with two waltz steps.
Bars 23-24: Backing straight up with two waltz steps, pass partner L shoulder again. Except on 2nd waltz step turn to face LOD and get back in Varsouvienne position.
Bars 25-40: repeat bars 9-24, except on last waltz step pull R shoulder back to face person behind you (your new partner) and get into Ballroom position
Bars 41-44: Take 4 turning waltz steps in Ballroom position.
repeat dance from the beginning with new partner
