Formation: couples in a circle, start facing center, M is on the L.
Introduction: 8 bars no action
Part 1:
Bars 1-2: facing center, balance into the center and out (or balance to corner and then to partner)
Bars 3-4: With two waltz steps, W rolls across in front of M to her right (her corner)
Bars 5-20: repeat bars 1-4, four more times.
Part 2: Grand Right and Left, Waltz
Bar 1: Facing the last person you rolled with, give R hand and exchange places with one waltz step, M moving CCW, W moving CWBar 2: Give L hand to the next person, and exchange places with one waltz step
Bars 3-4: Give R hand to the third person, turn the W CW under the joined joined hands with two waltz steps
Bars 5-8: repeat bars 1-4, starting with the partner that just turned under.
There are a couple of different ways of doing bars 9-16
Version 1: Step closes:
Bar 9, taking the person who just turned under in ballroom position with free hand pointing to the center, Step M's L, W's R into the center (1,2), Close other foot with weight (3)
Bar 10 repeat bar 9, but don't take weight on the last count.
Bar 11-12 repeat bars 9-10, with opposite footwork moving away from center.
Bars 13-16: Take 4 turning waltz steps, moving forward in LOD.
Variation 2: Rock in
Bar 9: Waltz into the center (or step on L into the center (1,2) and touch R (3)
Bars 10-16: Take 7 waltz steps turning in LOD
Bars 17-32: repeat bars 1-16
Repeat the entire dance from the beginning
Repeat the entire dance from the beginning
Ending:
either take 8 waltz steps to the end or Balance towards and away from partner, turn Partner under and then take 4 waltz steps to the end
