These notes ©2017, Andrew Carnie. Originally taught in the US by Slobodan Slović. The title translates as "The Girl From Vračar". The word "Vračarka" can also be used to refer to a fortune-teller. The dance comes from the area around Beograd and Mladenovac

Music: The dance fits best to the recording on the Slović cassette tape. I haven't been able to track down the original behind that workshop cassette. There is a recording on youtube that's the same melody: https://youtu.be/gBP674AfWak but note it's much faster than the dance is typically done. Also it's arranged slightly differently, so the bits of the dance don't fit quite the same way.
Meter: 2/4
Formation: Open circle, hands down in V position
Introduction: None.

The dance is technically leader called, but it fits the music nicely if you just repeat the three parts in order as notated, and occasionally substitute in the variation of part 3. 

Part 1:

Bar 1: Moving in LOD, Step R (1), Hop on R (2)
Bar 2: Still moving in LOD, step L (1), Hop on L (2)
Bar 3: Run R (1), L (2) in LOD
Bar 4: Step on R to R, turning to face center (1), hop on R (2)
Bars 5-8: repeat bars 1-4 with opposite footwork and direction.
Bars 9-16: repeat bars 1-8

Part 2:

Bar 1: Facing center step on R in place (1), Čukče on R, kicking L low forward (2)
Bar 2: Step on L in place (1) Čukče on L, kicking R low forward (2)
Bar 3: Take two tiny steps R (1), L (2) in place, tilting body slightly to the R
Bar 4: Step on R in place (1), Čukče on R, kicking L low forward  (2)
Bars 5-8: repeat bars 1-4 with opposite footwork
Bars 9-16: repeat bars 1-8

Part 3:

Bar 1: Still facing center, Step on R to R (1), cross L over R (2)
Bar 2: Step back in place on R (1), čukče on R (2)
Bars 3-4: repeat bars 1-2 with opposite footwork and direction
Bars 5-8: repeat bars 1-4
Bars 9-16: repeat bars 1-8

Variation for part 3:

Bar 1: Step on R in LOD (1), Step on L behind R (2)
Bar 2: Step on R forward in LOD (1), hop on R, kicking L forward in LOD (2)
Bars 3-4: repeat bars 1-2 with opposite footwork and still traveling in LOD
Bars 5-8: repeat bars 1-4
Bars 9-16: repeat bars 1-8
