Lyrics
From Jaap's type written dance notes:Kostadine, mili sino le džanâm
Kâde hodis, le, kata večer
Kâde hodis, kata večer le džanâm
Kâde večer, le, pred večeri
Ta ne dojdes da večerjas le džanâm
Da večerjaš le, i da legaš
-Kat me pitaš, stara male le džanâm
pravo pravo le, ke ti kaža:
-Denem joda, iz Razloško, le džanam
Denem joda le iz Razloško.
Nostem joda le iz Razloško
Nostem joda le, iz Nevropolsko
Zaljubil sâm, stara malele džanam
edno moma le makedonka.
Konstantine, my dear sone
where do you go every evening
every evening before supper?
Why don't you come,
have your supper and go t bed.
- Since you ask me, dear old mother
I'll tell you the truth right away;
I go about Razlog district in daytome
I go about Nevropol district at night
because I've fallen in love with a girl,
with a fair Macedonian maiden
