These notes ©2017, Andrew Carnie. Learned from Bata Marčetić Summer 2017. The dance is from Gnjilan in Kosovo. The name of the dance is the Serbian for the Greek Macedonian town of Serres. The dance is influenced by the Macedonians from Serres who migrated to Kosovo. Lee Otterholt also teaches this dance.

Meter: 2/4
Formation: Open circle, hands in W position. Leads to the R
Introduction: 8 bars no action, start with "high flute".
Part 1
Bar 1: Sway on L to L (1). Sway on R to R (&). Lift L knee up, with a čukče on R (2)Bar 2: Čukče on R, bringing L around (1), step on L behind R (&) Step on R to R (2). Cross L over R (&)
Bar 3: Facing LOD, čukče on L, lifting R up in front (1), step on R in LOD (&), step on L behind R (2), Step on R forward (&)
Bar 4: Repeat bar 3 with opposite footwork, still moving LOD.
Bar 5: Repeat bar 3
Bar 6: Facing center, close feet together with bent knees (1), straighten knees (&), bounce on both feet (2), bounce again (&)
repeat until leader calls a change
Part 2
Bar 1: Facing LOD, čukče on L (1), step on R in LOD (&). Čukče on R (2), step on L in LOD (&)Bar 2: Facing LOD, čukče on L (1), step on R in LOD (&). Facing center, Cross L in front of R (2), Rock back on R in place (&)
Bar 3: Repeat bar 2 with opposite footwork and direction
Bar 4: Repeat bar 1, except making a complete CW turn while moving in LOD
Bars 5-6: repeat bars 2-3
repeat until leader calls a change. When the change is called substitute Bar 6 of part 1 for Bar 6 of part 2 in order to switch weight.
Ending: do bars 1-2 of part 1, excecept close L next to R on last count of bar 2.
