These notes ©2017, Andrew Carnie. As learned from Shirley Hauck. This is one of a number of Line Dances done to the song Dance above the Rainbow. This is the simplest one I've seen. This is a 2 wall country and western line dance.

Music
Ronan Hardiman "Dance above the Rainbow", Michael Flatley's Feet of Flames: 
Meter: 2/4
Formation: Individuals scattered around the room. The dance is a two wall dance.
Introduction: Start at the beginning of any musical phrase.

Bar 1: Touch R toe directly forward (1), touch R toe to diagonal R (2)
Bar 2: Step R (1), L (&), R (2), in place
Bars 3-4: Repeat bars 1-2 with opposite footwork and direction.
Bar 5: touch R toe next to L (1), Kick R foot forward (2)
Bar 6: Repeat bar 2
Bars 7-8: Repeat bars 5-6 with opposite footwork
Bar 9: Step on R to R (1), Step on L behind R (2)
Bar 10: Repeat bar 2
Bars 11-12: repeat bars 9-10 with opposite footwork and direction
Bar 13: Walk forward (towards the wall) R (1), L (2)
Bar 14: Step R (1), L (&), R (2), slightly forward, pulling R shoulder back on count 2 to face back wall
Bar 15: Repeat bar 13 with opposite footwork, traveling towards rear wall
Bar 16: Step L (1), R (&), L (2) in place

repeat entire dance facing the back wall.
